Video: President Sisi Called a Nazi at German Press Conference

A hijab-wearing woman interrupted the proceedings, as hundred of both pro and anti-Sisi demonstrators gathered outside.

President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi is in Germany to talk with Chancellor Angela Merkel over a wide range of issues and to secure deals with German companies. However, things got ugly when both President El-Sisi and Chancellor Angela Merkel held a press conference, which was interrupted by hijab-wearing women who shouted out that Egypt’s president was a Nazi and murderer.

The outburst happened towards the end of the press conference and was captured on video. A woman wearing a headscarf wanted the world to hear her opinion and began shouting at the Egyptian president, accusing him of being a Nazi and calling for an end to military rule as the two leaders began leaving the room. The woman was quickly escorted out of the building, where according to AP there were hundreds of both pro and anti-Sisi supporters.
